Samsung today unveiled its fifth generation of Galaxy foldables: Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5.
Huawei unveiled the Mate X back in February with the device due to launch in June. The launch date how now been put back to September, according to a Huawei spokesperson.

Samsung today unveiled their much anticipated foldable smartphone - the Galaxy Fold, which opens up to create a 7.3in (18.5cm) tablet-like display able to run up to three apps at once. The outer display is a 4.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED panel with a 21:9 aspect ratio. The inner/main display of the Galaxy Fold is a large 7.3-inch QXGA+ Dyanic AMOLED canvas with a form factor of 4.2:3.

Back in October, Huawei launched its foldable Mate X smartphone and the device is now available to buy in China. The Mate X, which unfolds to 5.8 inches wide, went on sale Friday on Huawei´s online store in China priced at 16,999 yuan (£1,900 / $2,422). Those who did not manage to buy a Mate X on Friday will get another chance on 22 November when a second batch will go on sale.
