WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook are all suffering a major global outage, completely bombing shortly before 5pm. As they are all owned by Facebook and share the same infrastructure, this also means that apps like Facebook Messenger and Facebook Workplace are also down.

Vodafone UK users have been suffering another nationwide network outage today as mobile phone users across the country experienced issues making calls.

O2 customers throughout the UK have been left with no data connectivity or 3G and 4G services after a technical fault caused a UK-wide outage.
Vodafone UK is currently experiencing an outage across the United Kingdom today, leaving thousands of customers unable to access 4G internet or make calls. Particular hotspots appear to include London and the south of England, as well as Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow.
Customers of all four major UK mobile networks, O2, EE, Vodafone and 3, are having issues today making calls, and comes as millions of workers across the country are staying home to work to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Facebook is was working to resolve issues faced by some users while sending and receiving media files on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. The outages appear to be connected to US cybersecurity firm Cloudflare which has been affected by an outage at telecommunications provider Verizon.
