Two days before Apple open their new store in Edinburgh, Apple will be hosting their second big event in as many months.
Slated for October 16, the Cupertino giant is expected to show off a new iPad Air 2 and new Macs.
The new version of its Mac OS X operating system, called Yosemite, is also expected to be released to the public. Yosemite includes a number of features which unite the Mac and iOS devices, such as the ability to answer calls and reply to text messages on your Mac, providing your iPhone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
The event will take place at Apple’s Town Hall Auditorium at the company’s California headquarters, a much smaller and more intimate venue compared to the massive Flint Centre, where the iPhone 6, 6 Plus and Apple Watch were unveiled last month.
The event will kick off at 10am local time, which is 6pm here in the UK.
For those wanting to follow the event as it happens live, Apple has announced that it will be streaming the event live on its website.
