Policy – How to Use Content that You Don’t Own
Under the right conditions, BlackBerry World developers can use content in their apps that they don’t own (3rd party content). To use 3rd party content such as videos, images, music or news content:
(1) obtain the rights to do so from the content owner;
(2) when you submit your app in the BlackBerry World Vendor Portal, specify the details of the rights that you’ve obtained by completing the Confirmation of Digital Rights form – a questionnaire consisting of 3 short questions.
Porsche Design P’9982
Two weeks ago, BlackBerry announced the new Porsche Design P’9982 smartphone. In case you haven’t heard, it offers the same great screen resolution and processor specifications as the BlackBerry Z10. Hence, apps that function on the BlackBerry Z10 will also function on the new smartphone. So when you submit your next BlackBerry 10 app to BlackBerry World, don’t forget to include support for the P’9982 from BlackBerry.
