Since its initial release in August 2014, Muse has consistently succeeded in helping people from every walk of life. Professional athletes, executives, stressed out parents and many others needing to nurture their ability to create calm, focus, and peak performance have reaped the benefits. The medical community, including surgeons and psychologists, have also found ways to incorporate Muse into their practices, providing a better and more effective experience for their patients.

“We’re thrilled to note that Muse has been embraced by the medical community, which has found practical applications for the device to alleviate stress and anxiety in patients,” states Lou Pino, Ph.D. Research Team Lead.

Muse is now used in brain research at Harvard, MIT, Berkeley, UCL, and more than 40 other institutions across North America.

Muse is an easy-to-use interactive tool that helps users connect with their minds in new ways. Using an app called Calm, Muse uses attention-focused exercises to help reduce stress and anxiety, and increase focus in just 3 minutes a day. Muse connects wirelessly to smartphones or tablets via Bluetooth and delivers real-time feedback to users on their devices.
