Samsung has confirmed the date for its February Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, the company’s first major hardware launch event of 2022, which will be taking place on February 9.
The company will be launching the next Galaxy series flagship — the Samsung Galaxy S22, the Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
They are expected to pack the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 chips under the hood, based on the region they will launch in. The devices are said to feature up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Galaxy S22 Ultra is tipped to come with an S Pen.
The company teased the event last week, but only announced the specific date. The event is being held virtually on Samsung’s website and will begin at 3pm (10am ET / 7am PT).
Samsung is also expected to announce a set of tablets — the Galaxy Tab S8, S8 Plus, and S8 Ultra, at the event.
