Apple’s iCloud Mail service has suffered a global outage, impacting millions of users worldwide. Apple confirmed the service is down after reports of the outage emerged on Wednesday morning.
‘Users may be unable to send, receive or access mail,’ a notice from Apple stated.
Users were unable to sign into their email accounts.
Many also experienced issues with the iCloud Web Apps, Apple Pay, AppleCare on Device and Apple Music.
Around 80 per cent of outage reports on DownDetector were email-related.
As usual, Apple users took to X to vent their frustrations of being unable to access their emails.
Apple resolved the issue several hours later.
