Apple is making its Apple TV+ service completely free for users across three days.
Apple TV+ will be free for the first weekend of 2025 (3rd – 5th January) for anyone with an Apple ID.
Users don’t need to sign up for a subscription, but they need an Apple ID in case they don’t have one already.
Viewers will be able to watch content on the platform on any device where Apple TV+ is available.
This means that for those who don’t currently have access to the platform, they’ll be able to watch episodes from all of the streamer’s shows, as well as their films.
Kick off 2025 by streaming Apple’s originals, including buzzy new seasons of “Silo,” “Shrinking” and “Bad Sisters,” the twisty, riveting “Presumed Innocent,” Golden Globe nominees “Slow Horses” and “Disclaimer,” and award-winning hits like “The Morning Show” and “Ted Lasso.”
The timing of this free weekend ties in with the second season of one of Apple TV+’s biggest shows, Severance.
It’s a sci-fi thriller in which people’s work-time and free-time memories are split up through surgery, but there’s a dark conspiracy whirring away behind the scenes.
Watch celebrated sci-fi series “Dark Matter,” “For All Mankind” and “Foundation”; discover movies for the whole family like “Fly Me to the Moon” and “The Family Plan”; and action-packed hit features like “Wolfs” and “The Instigators.”
If you are not an Apple TV+ subscriber but want to try out some of their programming, now is your chance.
