In case you just have missed it on the interwebs, BlackBerry have an Android smartphone coming.
At a time when IFA is coming up this week, and Apple is due to launch their new phones, everybody is talking about the Android slider from BlackBerry.
This is a phone that is generating more interest than any previous BlackBerry than I can remember.
While most of the leaks have been renders that really don’t supply too much information, some real pictures have now been posted in Vietnam.
Both the SIM and microSD cards are at the top, while the power button is on the left side of the device. The slider mechanism is shown, while confirmation of the 18MP OIS camera, textured back and the physical QWERTY keyboard are shown.
What BlackBerry users may be disappointed in is that the Hub is shown in the pictures as an app, rather than integrated into the OS like it is in BlackBerry 10.
Take a look for yourself and make your own mind up on this interesting device.
