With the new BlackBerry Priv, BlackBerry’s first ever android-powered smartphone, now publicly available, there has been a wealth of information for basic users on how to do the simplest things with the smartphone.
One of the most important features that has been lacking is information on the Priv for enterprises and developers.
With that in mind, BlackBerry are holding a webcast targeted for developers and enterprise users on November 17.
Developers will learn a little more about what they need to know when coding for the Priv and code examples will be demonstrated that show how to detect when the PRIV keyboard is slid out or in, and capture touch events and gestures on the capacitive keyboard.
BlackBerry will cover the following topics:
- Meet the PRIV by BlackBerry – Device overview
- Android for Work and BES12 integration – Ready for Enterprise / Security features
- Important development “need to knowsâ€Â
- Google Play for Work – No limits, no constraints on Apps – Building and posting apps for business
- New Developer resources available on the BlackBerry DevZone website
