AttackIQ and BlackBerry Cylance to Deliver Enterprise Endpoint Security Validation

AttackIQ has partnered with BlackBerry Cylance to enable organisations to validate that their endpoint security solutions are deployed correctly and configured optimally, ensuring continuous protection against the latest threats.

AttackIQ built the industry’s first platform that enables red and blue teams to test and measure the effectiveness of their security controls and staff. With an open platform, AttackIQ supports the MITRE ATT&CK framework, a curated knowledge base and model for cyber adversary behaviour used for planning security improvements and verifying defenses work as expected.

“BlackBerry Cylance’s ability to deliver proactive endpoint security and dynamic threat detection rooted in native artificial intelligence is a critical aspect of a customer’s security strategy,” said Carl Wright, chief commercial officer at AttackIQ.

“With this integration, enterprises can now assess their current security infrastructure and ensure their organizations are protected as intended.”

Leveraging the MITRE ATT&CK framework, AttackIQ enables organizations to measure their security controls performance, identify misconfigurations or gaps in coverage and focus resources on areas with the highest probability of risk exposure.

The AttackIQ platform ensures that customers are achieving the full benefits of their endpoint protection solutions to prevent against and detect known and unknown threats.

“The recent AttackIQ and BlackBerry Cylance partnership is going to provide tremendous value to our customers and the security community as a whole,” said Chris Coulter, vice president of technology at BlackBerry Cylance.

“AttackIQ’s platform is now enriched to provide users with targeted awareness around products, configurations, and feature sets, ensuring attack-prevention effectiveness. We are also excited that our experts responsible for the award-winning ThreatVector blog have new avenues of spreading situational awareness derived from their continuous threat research efforts, all in an easy-to-use autonomous tool.”

AttackIQ will showcase its validation capabilities in the BlackBerry Cylance booth at the RSA Conference 2019, March 4-7 in San Francisco. AttackIQ will present on the mainstage in the BlackBerry Cylance booth, #6145 in the North Hall of the Moscone Center, March 5 at 4:30 p.m. and March 6 at 2:30 p.m.
