Huawei has unveiled the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G in Qatar and interested fans can now register their interest online.
Demo displays of Huawei Mate30 Pro 5G are available at the Huawei Roadshow in Doha Festival City until January 25.
Powered by the Kirin 990 5G, the 5G phone supports dual SIM and comes with the upgraded EMUI 10, which uses different open source codes and supports AI Gesture Control – allowing users to operate the device without touching the screen.
Another new feature is AI Private View, which can identify the user’s face and automatically hide message content when it detects more than one face. An identity verification will be triggered when the face the phone detects changes.
While the Huawei P40 Pro 5G will not have the pre-installed Google mobile services, Huawei stressed that its AppGallery now has a growing number of local and global options.
Huawei has invested heavily in improving its camera capabilities, and the new phone comes with a quad camera system including two 40MP cameras, an 8MP telephoto camera and a 3D depth sensing camera. The new system will offer improved low-light photography and videography, better slow-motion videos and also provide for better selfies.
With a 4500mAh battery, the device comes with wired and wireless charging options.
In terms of design, the phone features a new 88-degree ultra-curved display, allowing users to adjust the volume on the side. The Mate 30 Pro 5G also comes in new material and colours including the emerald green and the vegan leather orange.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G will cost QAR 3899.
