The Huawei Mate 30 Pro is coming to the UK and will be exclusive to the Carphone Warehouse.
All customers who order the new Mate 30 Pro will also get a free pair of Huawei FreeBuds 3 and a Huawei Watch GT2.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro launching in the UK supports 5G, and comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory.
Carphone have provided no details on either pricing or availability of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, although they have launched a page where you can register your interest in the smartphone.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro runs open-source Android 10 (EMUI 10) along with App Gallery + Huawei Mobile Services instead of Google Mobile Services and Google Play Store.
This means it lacks Google’s apps, such as Gmail and Chrome, Google’s Play Store and the associated Google Play Services, which increasingly form the back-end of all Android apps developed for a western audience.
However, Carphone Warehouse say they will provide VIP support for free with this purchase.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro is powered by Huawei’s most powerful system on chip (SoC), the Kirin 990 processed with 7nm FinFET Plus EUV technology combined for faster processing and the new DaVinci Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for maximum Artificial Intelligence (AI) performance.
