Leaked: BlackBerry 10 Lisbon Specifications

Someone throw me bucket for all these leaks!

So far we know of the L-Series, N-Series, and a reported R-Series. We also know so far that RIM plans on releasing a total of six BlackBerry 10’s throughout the 2013 calendar, but the amount under its designated letter have yet to be calculated.

Continuing under the L moniker in title placing, the BlackBerry 10 Lisbon will be greeting our fellow Yankees and Canucks under the two largest networks in the USA and Canada, AT&T and Rogers respectively with both GSM carriers having full support of LTE.

Yesterday’s leak, another from the L-Series, the BlackBerry 10 Laguna going to Verizon will be a CDMA LTE device.

Which now makes us question the London. Will it in fact be a World Phone , having both CDMA and GSM radios.if so, I’ll take two please.

On a comparative note the specifications to the Laguna are very identical with the processor continuing with the Qualcomm S4 Pro MSM8960. The radios here are the major difference with CDMA to GSM. Literally everything else remains a carbon-copy (excluding the yet to be seen phone design).

Some food for thought

What has me dwelling on now is that there are three in the L-Series. Will these devices all look the same or have a design that tells them apart. On a last note I’m really hoping that carriers don’t brand them with their logos like the AT&T and Rogers fashion.

Let’s quickly take a look at the running count:

L-Series: (High-end market)

  • London (possibly World Phone speculated)
  • Laguna (CDMA)
  • Lisbon (GSM)

N-Series: (High-end to Low-end market)

  • Qwerty 1 High-end (think Bold 99XX)
  • Qwerty 2 Low-end (speculated, but makes sense to replace Curve series)

R-Series: Details unknown

  • Slider phone (speculation think Torch series)
