Unihertz has just launched on Kickstarter its latest smartphone, Titan Pocket, the smallest QWERTY smartphone running Android 11.
Unihertz has previously developed Titan, the rugged QWERTY smartphone that also runs Android OS, and won the support of over 3,000 backers on Kickstarter. The new model, Titan Pocket, which is 30% smaller and lighter than the Titan and comes with Android 11 OS, 3.1 inch screen, and 4000mAh battery.
From the size and features, we can expect it to be easy to carry around, while remaining as the ideal smartphone for people who want to “get things done”.
Obviously, the main selling point of the device is the keyboard. It’s a full QWERTY keyboard that offers that tactile feel.
But it takes more than just a keyboard to make a phone, and the Unihertz Titan Pocket has decent enough specs for an entry-level smartphone. It comes with a MediaTek P70 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage, which should be enough to get the job done for basic smartphone functions.
Because the keyboard occupies a large part of the phone, the screen is only a 3.1-inch LCD. Additionally, the screen is small because the phone’s phone’s overall size has been reduced by 31 percent over the original Titan. The small screen comes with a 716×720 resolution for a 328 PPI pixel density.

Titan Pocket has Dual SIM card slot, IR blaster, GPS, fingerprint unlock, and NFC. Moreover, it is globally unlocked with LTE support and is compatible with 6 types and 39 bands. It is useful whether you are at home or are traveling around.
Unihertz is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter to bring the Titan Pocket to market. The campaign has vastly exceeded its funding goal, so the device should release.
