One of the things that BlackBerry is really lacking in is brick and mortar stores. This is where the likes of Apple and Samsung sell a load of their devices and provide first-hand support.
There is no doubt that there are many people who prefer to walk into a store, see and feel devices in their hands, opposed to buying blind online.
If you are a BlackBerry user in Germany, you will be pleased to hear that BlackBerry are opening a BlackBerry store in Frankfurt.
The shop will open on 23rd of September and will be located on the 2nd floor of the MyZeil shopping center.
At the time of writing, we have no information on what the store will provide (if anything) beyond device sales.
With BlackBerry still continuing to have difficulty in getting carriers to stock their BlackBerry 10 devices in-store, this may be the first of other BlackBerry stores opening in other countries, although that is simply conjecture at this point.
There is of course, the matter of BlackBerry’s upcoming Android smartphone, which may change the game and have retailers lining up to stock the Android smartphone.
