Back in December, we reported how BlackBerry were closing down the BBM Meetings Service, effective today, February 10th 2016.
If you haven’t already done so, BBM Meetings users should take the following actions.
Update existing meeting requests created through BBM Meetings to use a different preferred conferencing host.
Remove the BBM Meetings app from any devices. The app will be automatically removed from devices where it was preloaded in an upcoming BlackBerry OS update.  BlackBerry has removed the app from the various app marketplaces it was available on, including BlackBerry World, iTunes and the Google Play Store.
Manually uninstall the BBM Meetings plug-in for Microsoft Outlook using the following steps:
- Open Microsoft Outlook.
- Navigate to File > Options > Add-Ins.
- At the Manage drop-down, ensure Com Add-ins is selected.
- Click Go…
- Ensure that the BBM Meetings Outlook Plugin is selected.
- Click Remove.
Users that have installed BBM Meetings on their Windows or Mac computers will need to manually uninstall it.
