Google has reduced the monthly prices for its Drive cloud storage and document editing platform to what can only be described as great levels.
Not only are the new price levels great, they undercut just about all of the main competition.
In recent months, Google has been pushing Google Drive and updating both their iOS and Android apps with lots of document editing functionality.
The biggest reduction is in the 1TB plan which is now an amazing $9.99 per month.
The new storage prices are as follows:
- 15GB  – free
- 100GB – $1.99/month (was $4.99)
- 1TB – $9.99/month (was $49.99)
- 10TB – $99/month
All existing users will be upgraded to the new lower prices automatically and new users can sign up for one of these new Google Drive plans here. It will enable interesting to see how other cloud storage providers react.[signoff predefined=”Enjoy this?” icon=”icon-users”][/signoff]
