BlackBerry today announced Secure access RSA passcodes within Secure Work Space with Work Security ID for BES10.
This means that RSA hardware tokens no longer needed to be carried separately to securely access RSA passcodes. Work Security ID for BES10 will now generate one-time passcodes from within the Secure Work Space using a soft token.
The Work Security ID client for BES10 integrates with the RSA Secure ID SDK to provide two-factor authentication from your mobile device.
Users with just one tap can copy and paste token codes from the Work Security ID app to other apps within the Secure Work Space. They can use token codes in other mobile application for other authentication uses, be it to access online systems such as VPN, Wi-Fi, or secure web portals.
RSA Authentication Manager administrators can deploy software tokens to Secure Work Space user devices securely and fast.
The app is now available for iOS devices from the Apple app Store and Android devices on the Google Play app Store. Work Security ID for BES10 is RSA Ready Program Certified.[signoff predefined=”Enjoy this?” icon=”icon-users”][/signoff]
