The Mobile Industry Awards 2019 took place in London last night and when it came to smartphone categories, it was Huawei who made a clean sweep, winning all the smartphone related awards.
Huawei won Best Value Phone, Best Mid Range Phone, Hottest New Phone 2019, Phone of the Year and topped it off winning Smartphone Manufacturer of the Year.

While Huawei are certainly having their issues since Donald Trumps ban, it is clear that Huawei smartphones are just as popular in the UK, if not more so.

Some phone recycling companies in the UK are trying to make the most of Huawei’s situation, using it to drastically cut their buying prices and getting some free advertising for doing it, the reality is that Huawei phones are still doing very well here in the UK.
What is clear from these awards is that Huawei make some fantastic smartphones to cover all budgets and are still as popular in the UK as ever.
