Add printing to Windows 10 apps

Justin Hutchings, Senior Program Manager at Microsoft, talks about developing apps and devices that print using Windows 10 mobile. Printing will work on Universal apps, not on Silverlight apps. Only network connected printers will work with Windows 10 mobile, while USB printers will not work on the platform.

Justin discusses how application developers can use Universal Windows Platform SDK to write Windows apps that print (on both PC and phone). This talk includes discussion of important industry standards like PWG Raster, PCLm, OpenXPS, and MS XPS. He also covers UI considerations when implementing printing.
