Cloud accounting company, Clear Books, has launched a new scheme that will enable university and college students in the UK to benefit from its online accountancy software services completely free of charge for up to three years.
It means that individuals on accountancy, business and finance courses can use the award winning* software to enhance their studies and prepare them for work and students setting up a company whilst at university can benefit from a wide range of online features such as customising invoices, paying bills, raising purchase orders and importing bank statements.
All that a student needs to qualify is a valid ‘ac.uk’ email address.
After signing up, they can access their Clear Books account anytime and anywhere through an Internet connection. There is no need to install software onto their computer and dedicated free support is available via email, phone and live chat, as well as through social media. And as well as frequent webinars and open days where users can learn more, there is also a community forum where they can make suggestions and chat with the wider Clear Books community.
They can also download the handy mobile app to their smartphone. If required, HR and Payroll software may be added as can unlimited users at no additional cost.
When a student eventually completes their studies and changes their email address, they will be charged a regular fee that currently is from £7.20 per month. However, there is no obligation for them to continue using Clear Books after their free period of use has expired.
