SADP Works and Ithon have announced a Distribution Agreement to market SADP (“Simplified Application Delivery Platformâ€Â) solution in Europe.
“For some time now, we have been seeing increased frustration in the market with existing enterprise mobility solutions,†says Gary Jones, Marketing Manager of Ithon.
“Besides complaints about the performance, pricing and limited capabilities of available solutions, we also saw that enterprises were constrained by the fact that these solutions were primarily device-centric and often required a local client to be installed and maintained. This scenario adds to the IT departments’ burden and limits the use of other mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets that employees may have already. This restricts the flexible methods of working that companies and their employees might wish to use.â€Â
Gary added,
“After an extensive search, we identified SADP as a solution that has zero client install requirements and virtually eliminates issues of device management and licensing limitations,â€Â
With SADP, users can securely access their enterprise applications and data from any mobile device simply through a browser – without having to install any software. SADP eliminates the download of data to devices, thereby mitigating the risks of data loss through mobile devices. This also gives it BYOD capabilities. A demonstration is available.
“We are very pleased that Ithon has chosen to work with SADP,†says Clement Ng, VP Business Development of SADPWorks.
“Like Ithon, in our information management and security experience, we found similar issues in the marketplace which motivated us to set out to develop an enterprise mobility solution that would address them.â€Â
Under this agreement, Ithon will distribute SADP to resellers and enterprises in Europe, with initial focus on the UK.[signoff predefined=”Enjoy this?” icon=”icon-users”][/signoff]
