Apple has released iOS 17.2, bringing a number of new features, the highly-anticipated Journal app and fixes a total of 12 security vulnerabilities, some of which are said to be serious.
iOS 17.2 also includes Action button and Camera enhancements, as well as other features and bug fixes.

iCloud sync keeps your journal entries safe and encrypted on iCloud and there is an option to lock your journal using Touch ID or Face ID.
