IPC appoints BlackBerry Veteran, Director Enterprise Product Management

Infinite Peripherals (IPC), a provider of enterprise mobility solutions, has added mobile communications industry veteran Eric Nicolaisen to the newly created position of director, enterprise product management.

At IPC, Nicolaisen will identify and develop new enterprise hardware and software solutions to offer customers and resellers innovative, turnkey enterprise mobility systems. He also will manage branding and marketing around these new solutions.

“Developing software is an essential piece in providing total flexibility for any workflow and makes integration with our devices even easier,” said Jeff Scott, CEO and co-founder of IPC.

“We are thrilled to have such a seasoned product director as Eric lead the charge to create more comprehensive, out-of-the-box solutions that equip customers to expedite and simplify mobile deployment and implementation.”

Coming to IPC from BlackBerry, Nicolaisen spent 17 years in several different positions throughout the company, including technical services, enterprise and channel sales, enterprise operations and enterprise product management.

Most recently, he was the senior director of enterprise product management, where he led activities related to the licensing and entitlement management infrastructure, as well as the licensing strategy for BlackBerry enterprise software solutions.

Previously, Nicolaisen was the senior director of enterprise operations, managing BlackBerry sales enablement team activities, developing global product positioning and training to support corporate and regional sales goals and creating internal and external sales messaging, sales tools and sales collateral to stimulate inside sales, field sales and reseller sales.

“I’m thrilled to join the progressive and growing team at IPC,” Nicolaisen said.

“This is such an exciting time in the industry. There is a tremendous opportunity to capitalize on IPC’s nimbleness and flexibility by creating new solution offerings and further bolstering our go-to-market strategy to best meet customer and partner needs.”
