Popular cryptocurrency app OKX has purchased a large land holding in Everdome, the hyper-realistic metaverse, marking its first foray into the metaverse. OKX joins a global partnership that is leading innovation in the metaverse space as one of Everdome’s premier partners.
The company will collaborate with the Everdome team to bring their partners and others into the metaverse to create unique cultural programming and surprising and delightful experiences. OKX will also create interactive experiences to help Everdome attendees gain a better understanding of crypto and the web3 ecosystem as a whole.
OKX will also be giving away five plots of land in the Everdome metaverse to fans to commemorate its foray into the metaverse
OKX is a major player in the market as a tier-1 crypto exchange with an average daily trading volume of $1.5 billion. The company has set its sights on expanding its top-tier status in Asia by becoming one of crypto’s most beloved brands under the new marketing leadership of OKX Global CMO Haider Rafique.
OKX has recently announced partnerships with Manchester City Football Club, McLaren F1 Racing Team, and F1 fan favourite Daniel Ricciardo, with the goal of supercharging the fan experience and educating fans on how to invest responsibly.
