QNX today launched its free QNX Online Training. Consisting of three foundational courses totaling 40 hours of in-depth instruction.
The training covers topics such as real-time programming, developing and debugging, and system profiling and analysis.
QNX, says that the initiative underscores QNX’s continued efforts to foster a skilled global developer community equipped with the tools necessary for success developing and building embedded products for the QNX Operating System (OS), and complements the recently launched QNX Everywhere initiative, which has opened up the business’ high performance foundational software for non-commercial use with a view to advancing embedded systems learning, experimentation and innovation.
The courses will be updated with new content and features planned to reflect industry changes, making it a lifelong resource for developers.

Developing and Debugging
Designed for developers with a general understanding of the QNX OS, this course explores developing applications and debugging complex problems in the integrated development environment (IDE) of the QNX Momentics Tool Suite.
Analyzing Performance
This course is designed for developers with a general understanding of the QNX OS but want to understand the integrated development environment (IDE) of the QNX Momentics Tool Suite. It explores analyzing performance issues of complete systems.
Writing Drivers
This course is for developers with a general understanding of the QNX OS and who want to write their own drivers. It covers various methods for writing different types of drivers in the QNX environment, providing hands-on exercises that apply the concepts of the course.
QNX Customized Courses
QNX offers customized courses tailored to your distinct project needs, your technical requirements and your project-specific challenges. You can also create your own custom course by choosing from more than 30 different modules.
Training is available at QNX University located in Ottawa, Canada, or hold sessions at your location.
If you elect to host a training session on-site at your location, you will be responsible for setting up an appropriate classroom environment.
Class size is limited to a maximum of 20 students; however, in order to offer the best possible training experience, QNX recommends that class sizes not exceed 15 students.
