Dash Replenishment eliminates extra steps by automatically sending toner refills directly to your door
Samsung today launched integration with Amazon Dash Replenishment. Consumers and small businesses can now sign up for the service to automatically receive toner refills from Amazon when existing supplies are running low.
The collaboration alleviates the stress of running out and rushing to manually place an order or make a last-minute purchase. Dash Replenishment ensures that a consumer is never left without the toner needed to complete a time-sensitive project.
Like other Dash services, printer owners will have to opt in if they want their ink automatically ordered and shipped.
In this case, customers will sign up for Amazon Dash Replenishment through Samsung’s provided Mobile Print application, which also enables wireless printing from mobile devices. Alternately, they can use Samsung’s “Easy Printer Manager,†a device management console designed for Mac and Windows PCs.
“Let’s face it, there’s never a good time to run out of toner,” said Andrew Sivori, Vice President, CE-IT Product Marketing at Samsung Electronics America, Inc.
“Through our collaboration with Amazon and integration of Amazon Dash Replenishment, we can ensure that our valued customers never experience lost time or productivity due to an empty toner cartridge. Samsung is committed to improving small office productivity through advanced technology.”
When enabled, the printer will automatically monitor toner levels, and before running out, it will place an order with Amazon for new supplies. Consumers will also be able to configure which toners are automatically ordered when replacements are required.
“Amazon Dash Replenishment prevents the ‘oh-no’ moments of running out,” said Daniel Rausch, Director, Amazon Devices. “A Samsung printer using Dash Replenishment automatically orders toner when it’s needed, so customers don’t have to think or worry about how much is left and they won’t ever run out of the toner supplies needed to stay productive.”
Amazon Dash Replenishment will be available with the Samsung SL-C430W, SL-C480FW, SL-M2835DW, and SL-M2885FW models.
