3:51 PM: O2 has now confirmed that the issues that have been affecting calls on its network are now fixed. In an email received by Rapid Meta O2 said:
” We will continue to monitor the situation closely and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
1:05 PM: The O2 calling issues are still going on with customers continuing to suffer from an outage that stops them from making calls. O2 has now confirmed the problems saying:
“Our technical teams are investigating reports of issues when some customers are using voice services in parts of the UK. Updates will be available here: http://spkl.io/60194yAnT We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
O2 mobile users are once again unable to make or receive calls today with the service currently offline. The problems have been confirmed by O2 with the company saying it is monitoring the situation.
The UK mobile service – which is one of the biggest in the UK – appears to have hit problems at around 9.30 am with the calling issue affecting users across the whole of the country.
There’s no word on what is causing the issues but O2’s status page is confirming that there are problems with making calls.
