In an interview with CNN, BlackBerry CEO John declared that BlackBerry are now safe as a company. More importantly, he reiterated the fact that customers, enterprises and more all believe that BlackBerry is here to stay.
This is the first time since taking over BlackBerry that Chen has stated unequivocally, that BlackBerry is “safe”, as a company.
He reiterates the fact that BlackBerry have acquired five companies and that the acquisition of Good Technology, which apart from being BlackBerry’s biggest ever acquisition, has brought customers back to BlackBerry.
He also states that BlackBerry will become profitable sometime in 2016.
