The GDPR includes a right for individuals to have inaccurate personal data rectified, or completed if it is incomplete. Rapid Meta has processes in place to ensure that we respond to a request for rectification without undue delay and within one month of receipt.
We can extend the time to respond by a further two months if the request is complex or we have received a number of requests from an individual. In this case, we will let you know without undue delay and within one month of receiving your request and explain why the extension is necessary.
If we receive a request for rectification we will take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that the data is accurate and to rectify the data if necessary.
Rapid Meta can refuse to comply with a request for rectification if the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, taking into account whether the request is repetitive in nature. If we consider that a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive we can request a “reasonable fee” to deal with the request; or refuse to deal with the request.
If you feel that we hold inaccurate personal data that you wish rectified, please use the form below to submit your request, including what data you feel requires rectification.
