BlackBerry is offering BlackBerry Protect for free to U.S. government and financial institutions in the United States, which are chief among the organizations most likely to be impacted first by cyberattacks against institutions in the United States.
BlackBerry Protect is an EPP solution that relies on 7th generation artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to protect endpoints from contemporary cyberattacks including the latest ransomware strains.
It was recently acknowledged by SE Labs with a AAA rating – the highest possible rating-for its ability to stop all tested threats before damage occurred. By stopping cyberattacks in the first stage of the cybersecurity kill chain, organizations can focus on other critical tasks that will no doubt arise from an escalation of cyber events-and they can rest assured that their IT infrastructure is protected.
BlackBerry Protect can operate alongside existing endpoint products with minimal impact to the endpoint device and, unlike most products available today, does not require an active connection to the cloud/Internet to stop cyberattacks.
This capability could become important should widespread disruptions and outages occur, tactics that have been seen recently in other suspected state-sponsored attacks.
This offer is exclusive to existing government and financial institution customers of BlackBerry in the United States who are not currently using BlackBerry Protect.
Eligible customers should contact their BlackBerry partner or account manager for additional details.
