Google has launched a new service that allows Android users to get solutions for their Android smartphone related queries.
It’s called #AndroidHelp on Twitter and users simply need to tweet their question with #AndroidHelp to get an answer back from the Google support team via the official @Android account.
Google’s main aim with the service is to help users get quick responses to their queries where they don’t have to privately DM to the Android account. This will also help get rid of the need for users to rely on Google support forums.
Google says that the official Android Twitter handle will provide assistance for the following:
- General troubleshooting
- Identity and Authentication
- Accessibility
- Security
- And many other Android features
Moreover, since the queries and solutions will remain public, it’ll also help others with similar issues get quicker help.
Google said,
“Today Google is announcing that you can get Android assistance on Twitter by tweeting your issue using the hashtag #AndroidHelp. Responses will come from the official @android Twitter handle. With the hashtag #AndroidHelp you can get assistance with: General troubleshooting, Identity and Authentication, Accessibility, Security, and many other Android features”.
Google hasn’t released more information around whether the service is targeted towards only Android smartphones but also for other Android devices.
It is also possible that the search engine giant is going to make use of Artificial Intelligence or the machine learning algorithm to handle the volume of queries that’ll come its way.
