Vodafone UK has launched a video-based tech support service to help people unable to seek help in one of the physical stores.
The new video-calling service, which launched today, means that anyone (customers or non-customers) is able to book a free 30-minute video or phone chat with an expert to resolve their technical issues.
Vodafone says their new service will enable you to get help with everything from software, app and connectivity issues to live demonstrations of devices and how-to sessions.
It will also mean that customers who are elderly or vulnerable are able to seek support without having to leave their home.
Customers and non-customers can book sessions easily through Vodafone’s store locator or make appointments in-store or over the phone.
Max Taylor, Consumer Director, Vodafone UK, said:
“Since we re-opened our stores, we’ve seen a change in customer behaviour. While customers want to be able to come into stores to buy and collect their phones, they are keen to continue accessing our Tech Team’s services online.
“Up until now, we’ve been managing this through webchats, but now we are launching a new, personal service with our Tech Team experts.
“It is really easy to book and we are delighted to be able to offer the service not only to Vodafone customers, but also to anyone else who may need help. This is all part of our commitment to keep everyone connecting.”
