Vauxhall has launched its own Electric Car discount scheme to its range of electric cars.
It follows from the Government’s Electric Car Grant, which will slash up to £3,750 off the price of an electric vehicle priced under £37,000.
The company also announced a series of finance and home charging offers, all of which can be combined.
Vauxhall customers can save up to £1,500 off the firm’s Corsa Electric, Astra Electric, Mokka Electric, Frontera Electric and Grandland Electric.
The discount means that the Corsa Electric now starts from £25,930, the Astra Electric from £33,280, the Mokka Electric from £30,830, the Frontera Electric from £24,645 and the Grandland Electric comes in at £34,555.
The offer requires a 20% customer deposit and is available on all non-special edition models.
Corsa EV and Mokka EV PCP customers will also receive a £1,500 deposit contribution, while Astra and Astra Sports Tourer customers will receive a £599 deposit contribution.
Grandland EV customers receive a £2,500 deposit contribution on a 7.9% APR PCP plan, making the EV’s monthly payments £24 lower than an equivalent hybrid model.
Frontera Electric models are now available for £24,895 or £177 per month on a PCP plan.
Vauxhall’s ‘Electric All In’ package is available to retail buyers, adding £500 credit towards an Ohme home charger installation, or charging credit from Octopus Electric or Tesco, and eight years’ roadside assistance including emergency charging.
The package now includes 10,000 miles of free home charging when switching to the Intelligent Octopus Go home energy tariff.
