Huawei Mate 40 Pro now available to pre-order in UK

Those who pre-order between November 3 and 12 will bag themselves a free Huawei Sound X speaker.

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is now available to pre-order in the UK with availability from November 13. Huawei Mate 40 Pro debuts Huawei’s new flagship 5nm Kirin 9000 chipset and includes a curved 6.76-inch 90Hz OLED displays and 50W wireless charging.

The Mate 40 Pro ships with a 4,400mAh battery, which supports 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. In terms of battery life, Huawei promises at least 9.7 hours of heavy usage.

The Mate 40 Pro features a 50MP main camera with a 20MP ultra-wide lens and a 12MP periscope lens. This comes with OIS and 5x optical zoom along with a 13MP dual-lens camera and a 3D depth sensor on the front of the device.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro comes with Huawei’s EMUI11 software, which runs on the open source version of Android 10. As was the case with the previous P40 series, Google’s proprietary apps are nowhere to be found. Instead, users are pushed towards Huawei’s AppGallery.

The Mate 40 Pro is available to pre-order now from the Huawei Store with a price tag of £1099.99. Those who pre-order between November 3 and 12 will bag themselves a free Huawei Sound X speaker. There’s yet no information when the cheaper Mate 40 will see a UK release.
