Google launched VPN by Google One, way back in 2020, a new virtual private network service, which will initially only worked on Android and was free aspect to Google One plans with 2TB plans or higher.
Finally, Google has now brought the VPN Service to iOS, and it available for iPhone and iPad Users.
A virtual private network (VPN) allows users to navigate the web with an additional layer of protection, encrypting the data sent between the endpoint device and the internet. This is especially useful in situations where you might be using public Wi-Fi, where ill-intended users may be trying to uncover personal information. The VPN by Google One will be built into the Google One app, and it can be enabled easily.
Similar to Android, the VPN will be available to Google One members on Premium plans (2 TB and higher) through the Google One app on iOS. Plus, members can share their plan and the VPN with up to five family members at no extra cost, so they can all use the VPN, no matter whether they’re using an Android or iOS phone.
