Vertu has introduced new Signature Touch with Snapdragon 810 SoC and 4GB of RAM. The New Signature Touch makes use of luxury materials like Titanium in its body, it’s hand-wrapped in your choice of calf, lizard or alligator skin and its screen is made from a solid lump of super-strong 130-carat sapphire.
Vertu’s concierge service is on board too. At the press of a button you’ll be connected to a Vertu contact who will provide information or perform tasks for you.
It comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p display with 5th generation Sapphire Crystal protection and runs on Android 5.1.
It has front-facing stereo speakers with Dolby Digital Plus virtual surround sound, a 21-megapixel rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), dual-tone LED flash, Vertu’s custom Image Signal Processor and camera application software by ArcSoft. It also has worldwide 4G connectivity with support for 17 LTE bands.
There’s a security app which lets you encrypt your calls and texts (it works in partnership with mobile security specialists Silent Circle). It also allows you to securely wipe your phone if it ever gets lost.
The back isn’t removable, but there are titanium flaps which open on the back in a “gullwing” fashion. A small handle tucked into the back lets you open the hatches, under which you’ll find the microSD slot on one side and the SIM card tray on the other. The inside of the doors also bears the phone maker’s signature.

The new Vertu Signature Touch comes in four colours, across eight product executions; Jet Calf, Garnet Calf, Grape Lizard, Pure Jet Lizard, Jet Alligator, Pure Navy Alligator, Clous de Paris Alligator and Pure Jet Red Gold, each of which can be personalized with engraving.
These are priced between £6,500 GBP and £13,700 GBP, depending on the model and will go on sale through stores globally from 16th October, 2015.
