BlackBerry and TechAccess sign Distribution Agreement to further expand Enterprise Portfolio in 17 countries

BlackBerry are slowly but surely transforming themselves into a software services company with more and more global distribution agreements being signed. Following the success of BlackBerry and Exclusive Networks partnership in Australia and the Nordic region, the companies recently extended their distribution agreement into the UK, Benelux and DACH.

BlackBerry has now signed a distribution with TechAccess, a leading VAR in the Middle East, North Africa, LEVANT & Pakistan, which will further expand the company’s software vendor and solution portfolio.

TechAccess will now offer the BlackBerry enterprise software portfolio as part of its services, which includes among others the recently introduced Good Secure EMM Suites, a comprehensive set of mobile security, management, productivity and collaboration offerings including best-in-class app security and containerization, Identity and Access Management and Enterprise File Sync and Share with file level data protection.

Headquartered in Dubai with branch offices in Riyadh and Cairo, TechAccess have a well-established presence in 17 countries and a strong channel network. TechAccess will focus on key industry verticals to expand BlackBerry’s leadership across its target markets.

BlackBerry’s enterprise software portfolio offers end-to-end solutions and services built on proven security, which includes a comprehensive multi-OS Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) platform to allow businesses to manage complex mobile environments. Among others WatchDox by BlackBerry, the company’s Enterprise File Sync and Sharing software, applies enhanced levels of security and advanced DRM to enable users with the ability to share critical business information on the web, desktop or mobile, without the fear of data being lost or compromised.

As part of its 360-degree support model, TechAccess will onboard new resellers, while integrating BlackBerry’s existing partners into its fold to maintain continuity.

TechAccess will offer pre-sales support, marketing and business development support, and provide training and certification programs to enable partners to enhance their selling capabilities. The multi-million dollar solutions centre will be utilized to carry out proof-of-concepts and training sessions.
