Apple Music for Android Update brings Music Videos and Family Memberships

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Apple has released an update to Apple Music for Android which gives Android users access to thousands of music videos hosted on Apple servers, many of which are exclusive to Apple Music services.

In the Android version, videos for fresh and popular tracks are integrated directly into the app’s “New” section. Users can also search for music videos via Apple Music’s search feature, much like the app’s iOS counterpart.

In addition, Android device owners can now sign up or upgrade to an Apple Music Family Membership plan in-app. Apple’s family plan allows Apple Music access for up to six people and comes in at only £14.99 per month, as compared to £9.99 per month for single users.

Following a debut on Apple’s digital platforms last summer, Apple Music hit Android in November as an iTunes-powered alternative to streaming music products from Spotify and Pandora. The subscription service touts human-curated playlists, live Beats 1 radio programming, iTunes Connect and access to past iTunes song purchases.
