VeloCloud Networks today announced that it continues to extend its global market leadership with accelerating growth in the European market.
The company, named the worldwide SD-WAN market share leader by industry analyst firm IHS Markit, has expanded operations and its channel partner network in Europe, and has registered key enterprise wins in the region.
VeloCloud has also added a new UK Country Manager, Jon Arnold, and strengthened its technical team across the region.
VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN enables Enterprises to securely support application growth, network agility, and simplified branch and end-point implementations while delivering optimized access to cloud services, private data centers and enterprise applications.
Rentokil Initial (FTSE 100) is one of the largest business services companies in the world, mainly providing pest control and hygiene services. With Rentokil Initial, people are protected from the dangers of pest-borne disease, risks of poor hygiene, and injury in the workplace. Rentokil Initial chose VeloCloud SD-WAN as it needed a solution that would simplify its network, streamline processes, and provide increased bandwidth as it drives towards a cloud centric architecture.
“VeloCloud SD-WAN platform has helped unify a formerly disparate network, adding visibility and functionality that wasn’t present before,” said Mike Howell, Global Infrastructure Engineering Manager, Rentokil Initial.
“Rentokil is now in a much better position to service its customers as our network is prepared to handle all current and future technology demands,” said Ed Higgs, Director of Global Service Delivery, Rentokil Initial.
VeloCloud, a 100 percent channel driven company, recently announced that 50 Service Providers worldwide have chosen its cloud-delivered solution as their SD-WAN technology of choice. With VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN, Global Service Providers are able to increase revenue, deliver advanced services and increase flexibility by delivering elastic transport, performance for cloud applications, and integrated advanced services all via a zero-touch deployment and operations model. Also, with SD-WAN becoming the primary function in vCPE deployments, VeloCloud SD-WAN has been established as the platform for simplifying the delivery and deployment of virtual network functions (VNF) such as security.
Cloud services or regionally distributed on-premises services can be service chained with granular and simple enterprise-wide policies; and virtual services can be deployed directly to the branch either on the VeloCloud virtual services platform or alongside a VeloCloud SD-WAN VNF on a third party vCPE.
“VeloCloud has experienced tremendous growth in all aspects of its business including enterprise and service provider wins, network of channel partners, strategic partners in key areas such as security, and number of deployments,” said Sanjay Uppal, CEO and Co-Founder of VeloCloud.
“Europe is a key growth market for us and the caliber of enterprise customers and channel partners provides us a strong springboard for the future.”
VeloCloud will be exhibiting at the SD-WAN Summit in Paris, Sept. 26-28; and at the WAN Summit in London, Oct. 17-18.
