Vodafone UK has launched an Annual Upgrade Program for iPhone users, where customers buying the iPhone 11 series or iPhone SE can choose to trade in their handset anytime after 12 months for the latest iPhone, without paying an early upgrade fee.
Vodafone’s Annual Upgrade Promise is available on iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max and iPhone SE on contracts purchased from 24 Aug 2020 onwards.
While customers can upgrade to the latest iPhone every year for free, they need to take out a new 24-month airtime plan.
While this sounds like a great deal, the timing of the launch seems a bit bizarre with the new iPhone’s expected to launch sometime in October.
Vodafone are currently running their summer data deals where customers can purchase an iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max or iPhone SE with double data until 3 September.
All iPhones can be teamed with one of Vodafone’s unlimited data plans which allow customers to use as much data as they like. Customers selecting an Unlimited Max plan will be able to enjoy speeds as fast as the device and network will allow – making it perfect for streaming their favourite TV shows and music on the move.
When the time is right to travel again, customers can take advantage of Vodafone’s leading roaming offers, including 81 destinations, including the United States of America, Australia and Canada, as well as access to 5G in more places across Europe than any other UK operator.

Vodafone is the only network to include AppleCare services as standard when buying Vodafone Insurance for any Apple handset and Vodafone customers get an extended 24-month warranty for all Apple handsets.
Vodafone customers can also enjoy a wide range of exclusive rewards, treats and discounts. Vodafone says that more than 28 million rewards have been claimed to date and customers now have the opportunity to gift selected rewards to a person of their choice, regardless of which network they are on.
