BlackBerry Calendar for Android brings Exchange ActiveSync enhancements

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]BlackBerry have released an update to their BlackBerry Calendar for Android app, bringing Exchange ActiveSync enhancements.

Exchange ActiveSync accounts under EMM management now provide warning or restriction when inviting external contacts to events. EMM administrator will setup an internal corporate domain, all invitees outside of it will get highlighted in yellow, while all the invitees defined as part of the restricted domains will be highlighted in red and event invite will not be sent to them.

Calendar now supports adding and receiving of attachments for Exchange ActiveSync (v16) based calendar accounts.

With the BlackBerry Calendar, you can view and respond to your meeting invitations directly from the BlackBerry Hub.

When you create or change events, you can avoid double bookings by viewing when you’re busy.

Using the Join Now feature, you can instantly dial into your meetings directly from your event reminder. And with Google Now voice commands, booking meetings has never been easier.
