Samsung Focus now available in Play Store, A “Hub” for your Samsung smartphone

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Samsung has released Samsung Focus into the Play Store, an app that integrates crucial functions like email, contacts, calendars and memos in one place to turn your handset into a productivity powerhouse so that you can get things done faster.

Similar to the BlackBerry Hub app, Samsung Focus is a unified productivity application that enables Exchange ActiveSync (“EAS”) , IMAP and POP3 users to manage email, calendar, task, memo, and contacts easily in one place.

Users can have the same experience on their mobile environment with Samsung Focus in order to increase their productivity in their work.

The application allows Exchange ActiveSync, IMAP and POP3 users to better manage their emails, calendar entries and tasks. It can also be used with memos and the app offers Direct Push synchronization with Exchange ActiveSynch.

Samsung also comes with unified search for finding emails, events, memos, tasks and contacts faster. It also comes with an unread count tool that notifies users of how many unread emails and messages they have received inside the application. Aside from this, it has the ability to add events or tasks to emails.

The app connects to the actual email servers and it allows users to store content on their devices, but doesn’t operate any cloud servers.

Samsung Focus can join conference calls with supported devices, as well. In addition, Samsung Focus supports multiple servers, including Exchange Server 2003 SP2/SP3 and above, Google, Naver (IMAP/POP3), Office 365, Hotmail, Outlook.com, Exchange ActiveSync: IBM Notes Traveler, Groupwise, Kerio, Zimbra, Horde, IceWarp, MDaemon and more.

The app is now available as a free download from the Google Play Store. At launch, it can only be installed on Samsung handsets running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and above.
