Spotify for Android has finally received the highly-requested feature of a Sleep Timer, allowing app users to easily drift off to their favourite music without worrying that their songs will constantly keep playing and will drain out their smartphone’s battery.
Spotify users can now set time limits in various gaps like 5, 10, 15, 30, 45, and 60 minutes, so that the music can automatically turn off once it passes the pre-defined time limit.
How To Enable Sleep Timer On Spotify
- Start the track or playlist you want to hear, then press the 3-dot icon in the top right.
- Scroll down and find the option that says ‘sleep timer’ and tick it.
- A timer asking you how long you want the app to play for will be available.
- If you can’t find the option in your settings, try to update the app.
