Three Ireland
Three Ireland has switched on its 5G network in Ireland, deploying around 315 base stations, giving a total coverage of around 35% of the Irish population. Around 500 more are expected to be deployed by the end of 2020, with Three having invested around €100 million in the rollout over the last year

O2 has launched a new creative platform, in a new positioning that OS says is the company returning to its roots; "a brand and business that’s obsessed with putting customers’ first", building on its industry leading levels of customer loyalty through a completely new creative direction with the introduction of Bubl.
Coronavirus
Google and Apple have updated their COVID-19 contact-tracing tool to make it possible to notify users of potential exposures to the novel coronavirus without a dedicated exposure app. Previously, users had to download a dedicated app from their local public health organisation in order for it to work, but now, both companies are integrating the technology more directly into their operating systems.
Facebook
Australia is drafting a new regulation that Facebook says misunderstands the dynamics of the internet and will do damage to the very news organisations the government is trying to protect. In response, Facebook has said Australian users will no longer be able to post news stories on its platforms in protest of proposed media bargaining legislation.
