Contact Tracing Apps
While several countries in Europe have already released contact tracing apps using Apple-Google technology, Canada has announced that it has developed a new national contract tracing app that will also use the Apple-Google Exposure Notification API.
O2
O2's 5G network is now live in areas of 60 towns and cities across the UK, beating its original target. The milestone comes at the same time that O2 reaches 10,000 sites for its first-to-market LTE-M (Long Term Evolution, category M1) network.

Call Centre
While all mobile operators in the UK have been forced to close their stores due to the current lockdown here in the UK, Three UK has went one step further and announced they have also closed their call centres.
Contactless Payments
From April 1st, users in the UK will be able to use their smartphones, smartwatches and contactless bank cards at any contactless terminal to make payments of up to £45. This is an increase of £15 from the current £30 limit.
