BlackBerry CEO John Chen sat down to talk with Bloomberg’s Emily Chang about the Q1 Fiscal 2017 results and the full-fiscal year profit forecast.
When asked about the upcoming mid-range android devices, Chen said that one of the devices will be an all-touch device.
When asked at what point the company stops making phones, Chen pointed out that BlackBerry is no longer a hardware manufacturer but a device designer. This is of course similar to Apple’s strategy.
He also reiterates that the company intend to licence some of the existing software that is on their phones.
