Sony has released the list of smartphones that will be updated to Android 10, starting December 2019. Sony Xperia 1 and Xperia 5 will be the first set of devices to receive the latest iteration of Android. Meanwhile, Xperia 10 and 10 Plus, will get the update in early 2020, alongside older devices like the Xperia XZ2, XZ2 Compact, XZ2 Premium, and XZ3.

Back in June Google began rolling out RCS in the UK and France, bypassing carriers. Google is now doing the same in the US. If you already have Messages, you’ll be prompted to enable chat features in the coming weeks. If you don’t have Messages, you can download it on the Play Store. Google expects this service to be broadly available in the U.S. by the end of year.

To use this feature, users need to simply hold the Send button and choose to deliver the message or media without sound and the receiver will get a notification as usual, but their phone won’t make a sound even if they are not in Do Not Disturb mode.
EE quietly opened pre-orders for the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G Thursday, and Vodafone, with little fanfare, has now followed suit. The 5G phone is available to order on 5G plans ranging from £68 per month with £29 upfront to £81 per month with £29 upfront cost.  Vodafone's 5G plans have no limits, while you have a a choice of data limits on 5g ready plans.

Months after it appeared on Apple’s App Store, the Freeview mobile app is finally available for Android devices. The app lets you stream live TV shows on BBC, ITV and Channel 4, as well as accessing on-demand content from BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4, My5, and UKTV Play.
