Google has released the September 2019 Android Security Bulletin, giving carriers and device makers a fresh set of patches to install. Google device firmware images have also been released to the Google Developer site.
Though Google puts out the Android security patches each month, the job of actually getting the fixes to end users falls on the telcos and/or device manufacturers themselves. Those partners vary in their ability to release the patches in a timely fashion.

Oppo has released the Oppo F1 Plus smartphone in UK for £299, in India for INR 26990 and in Europe for €389. The company has also stated that they don’t have any current plans to sell it in the United States.

Samsung Linux on DeX app lets owners of specific Samsung devices “run” a full Ubuntu desktop on their device alongside Android. The feature was initially compatible with the Samsung Note 9 and the Samsung Tab S4 but support has now been added for the S9 & S9+, S10, S10e, S10+, S10 5G, S10 and the Tab S5e.
For UK customers who have Galaxy Note7 devices, Samsung in collaboration with its partners and operators will voluntarily replace their current device with a new one starting today.
